Along the way, your camel handlers prepare fresh Moroccan meals, traditional bread baked in the sand, and tea over the fire. At night, sleep in a desert camp or under the stars and enjoy the incredible atmosphere of the Sahara. This 2-day Sahara trek is available from mid-September to mid-May and can start with just two participants. The itinerary is fully private, flexible, and customizable, allowing you to choose your preferred travel date and adapt the experience to your needs.    Camel Desert Trek from M’Hamid to Lahnanich Dunes

   Your Sahara camel trek begins in M’Hamid, where we leave our oasis camp and start walking toward the beautiful Lahnanich sand dunes. The journey takes you across a wide and peaceful Sahara desert plateau, surrounded by open landscapes and the quiet beauty of the desert. After a day of trekking, we reach the heart of the dunes where we set up our desert camp. As the sun begins to set, enjoy a traditional Sahara tea ceremony on top of the dunes, followed by a delicious Moroccan tajine prepared by our local team. Spend the night in a traditional desert tent or sleep under the stars, surrounded by the silence of the Sahara. This is more than a camel trek it is a chance to slow down, connect with nature, and experience the Moroccan Sahara through the eyes of a local nomadic family.

   Continue Your Sahara Camel Trek

   After breakfast, your camel trekking adventure continues deeper into the Sahara Desert, crossing the peaceful dunes and open desert landscapes. Take your time to enjoy the scenery, the silence, and the unique atmosphere of the Moroccan Sahara. In the afternoon, return to our Oasis Camp in M’Hamid, where you can relax and enjoy a well-deserved shower after your desert adventure. In the evening, enjoy a traditional dinner and spend the night at the camp. The following morning, wake up to a peaceful desert atmosphere and enjoy breakfast at our camp. After breakfast, we arrange your transfer back to M’Hamid center, marking the end of your Sahara camel trekking experience. A simple, authentic desert journey walking the dunes, sharing traditional moments, and experiencing the Sahara at your own pace.
