Accompanied by local nomadic guides and camel handlers, you’ll travel at a relaxed pace while camels carry your luggage and equipment. Discover traditional desert life, encounter local nomads, and experience the unique plants and wildlife of the Sahara. Enjoy breathtaking sunrises and sunsets, freshly prepared Moroccan cuisine, traditional tea, and bread baked in the sand. Spend peaceful nights in traditional desert bivouacs or beneath the stars, following the natural rhythm of the sun and enjoying a true escape from everyday life. Itinerary

1. 1

   Day {{n}}

   Marrakech – M’Hamid

   Depart from Marrakech in the morning and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi-n-Tichka Pass. Continue through the Tiffernine Mountains and the Saghro massif via the Tizi n’Tinififft Pass, before descending into the beautiful Drâa Valley, surrounded by ancient kasbahs and fortified villages. Arrive in M’Hamid, meet your camel handlers, and begin your Sahara adventure with dinner and an overnight stay in the desert.

2. 2

   Day {{n}}

   M’Hamid – Sidi Naji

   After breakfast, begin your trek towards Sidi Naji, crossing a beautiful desert landscape of golden dunes and rocky plains dotted with tamarisk trees. Along the way, enjoy views of the Kraab mountain range and the peaceful surroundings of the Sahara. End the day by settling into a traditional bivouac among the dunes for a relaxing night in the desert.

   Sidi Naji – Erg Zahar

   Continue your Sahara adventure towards the impressive dunes of Erg Zahar, traveling through a vast sandy landscape. Upon arrival, take the opportunity to climb one of the region’s highest dunes and enjoy breathtaking views across the desert. In the evening, settle into your bivouac at the foot of the dunes and enjoy a peaceful night in the heart of the Sahara.

   Erg Zahar – Creatjmal

   Continue your trek through the beautiful dune landscape of Erg Zahar, where golden sands meet scattered tamarisk trees and the Oued Drâa. Enjoy the peaceful scenery as you make your way towards Creatjmal, where your bivouac will be set up for another relaxing night in the Sahara.

5. 5

   Day {{n}}

   Creatjmal – Bertam

   Start the day by enjoying the peaceful landscapes of Oued Naam, then stop for lunch beneath the shade of large tamarisk trees. In the afternoon, continue your trek through the smaller dunes towards Bertam. Settle into your bivouac among the dunes and enjoy another quiet evening in the Sahara.

6. 6

   Day {{n}}

   Bertam – M’Hamid

   Continue your trek through the peaceful landscape of smaller dunes on the way back to M’Hamid. After a long day of walking, arrive in M’Hamid in the late afternoon, where you can relax and enjoy a refreshing shower. End the day with dinner and another night in the desert.

7. 7

   Day {{n}}

   M’Hamid – Marrakech

   After breakfast, begin your journey back to Marrakech, leaving the peaceful Sahara behind. Enjoy a lunch stop along the way and take in the changing landscapes of southern Morocco. Continue the drive towards Marrakech and arrive in the afternoon, marking the end of your 7-day Sahara trekking adventure.
